Ashkiyoun

Quick and clear answers to your key questions

01How can I ensure the authenticity of Ashkiyoun rugs purchased through representatives?

Regarding the authentication of Ashkiyoun pieces, it is important to note that beyond the distinctive quality and unique design language of these rugs, the identity of each work is formed within a defined and standardized artistic framework, making it highly recognizable to experts and collectors.

However, for official verification, Ashkiyoun’s sales partners provide an identification certificate and certificate of authenticity for each rug without exception at the time of purchase.

These certificates bear the official stamp of the Ashkiyoun Art Gallery in Düsseldorf, and the serial number registered in the authenticity document is also discreetly woven into the structure of the rug itself, ensuring complete traceability and confirmation of originality.

In addition to these measures, Ashkiyoun is also planning to introduce a digital authentication system in the future.

At present, Ashkiyoun does not offer direct sales. Purchasing Ashkiyoun pieces is only possible through our official sales partners and authorized representatives.
To verify our sales partners, you may contact us via email.

The artistic characteristics of each piece are the primary factor in determining its value and pricing. After that, the rug’s placement within Ashkiyoun’s collection categories plays an important role. Additionally, weaving technique, materials, overall execution quality, knot precision, and structural craftsmanship are all key elements that contribute to the final valuation of each work.

Jafarnejad: Ashkiyoun’s first collection, woven from 100% pure natural silk, inspired by Persian heritage and traditional craftsmanship, and reinterpreted through the visual creativity of the Ashkiyoun team.

Sahara: A wool and silk rug collection made with spring wool sourced from Iran’s desert regions, known for its softness, warmth, and natural authenticity.

Shahdad: An avant-garde and free-spirited collection using the same fibers as Sahara, reimagining the Persian rug through a contemporary and innovative artistic approach.

The safest and most reliable way to purchase is through Ashkiyoun’s official sales partners in key locations worldwide. These partners are well-established and reputable, and their credibility ensures the authenticity of the rugs offered.

More than half of Iran’s provinces—each renowned for its own carpet-weaving tradition—play a role in the creation of Ashkiyoun rugs, from the northwest to the southeast of the country. This wide geographic collaboration reflects Ashkiyoun’s commitment to drawing upon the unique artistic potential of different regions, both through skilled weavers and local craftsmanship traditions. This diversity is an inseparable part of Ashkiyoun’s identity and artistic richness.
