Shahdad
Named after an ancient desert city once at the forefront of science and industry in the heart of the Persian Empire, “Shahdad” represents the third collection. Its distinction lies in freedom from traditional principles and constraints—whether in style, structure, detail, or artistic and philosophical vision. While preserving Ashkiyoun’s signature quality and identity, it adopts an avant-garde approach, creating carpets born from the same fibers and knots yet transformed into contemporary artworks and modern Persian carpets. Although the youngest of Ashkiyoun’s collections, Shahdad quickly gained recognition and acclaim in the global market.
