Description
The foxtrot is a smooth, progressive dance characterized by long, continuous flowing movements across the dance floor. The flowing curvilinear movement of flowers and foliage in this design resembles dance steps but originates in the weavings of one the largest nomadic tribes of Kurdish origin in Sanandaj, western Iran. Known to have no set or fixed designs they are regarded as some of the most interesting and artistic people finding inspiration in their surroundings. Floral Foxtrot is a testament to Shahdad’s commitment to sustainability by taking a well-known Persian carpet design and giving it a new life.
