Description
Bahram is a reflection of the grandeur and power of the Sassanid kings — a design that interweaves royal hunting scenes with an artistic perspective while preserving the classic hunting-ground aesthetic. It depicts the king at the forefront, caught in a sudden, unexpected moment — as often occurred — with his attendants following behind. While it alludes to the courage of Bahram, the Sassanid king, its ultimate message is inspired by Khayyam’s quatrain. This work not only reimagines a royal hunting ground but also serves as a reminder of a universal truth: even the greatest kings remain powerless before the passage of time and the inevitability of fate.
